a tricky concept
The Wall Street Crash is the bane of a History teacher's life. Students have to understand this complex economic event due to its profound impact on Europe during the 1930s. It is an indirect cause of the rise of Hitler and, by extension, the outbreak of WW2.
But students are not expected to write about it in their exam!
This is the video that I really wanted when I was an NQT: simple, crystal-clear, visual, a dash of humour. But most importantly, it covers everything students need to understand in order to move on and learn about the Great Depression.
